Discover the Healing Power of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Deepen your healing with intention—blending the transformative potential of ketamine with proven, integrative therapy.
Are you stuck in life and hitting a wall in your efforts to heal?
What if insight isn’t the problem—but the limit?
You’re self-aware and committed to growth, yet progress in therapy—or your relationship—has hit a wall.
You tend to analyze instead of feel, and even your partner is asking for something deeper.
You know the tools, the causes, the patterns—but using them in real life feels impossible.
Your relationship is stuck, even though one or both of you want change.
You succeed at work, but in healing? You feel stalled—and frustrated by advice that doesn’t reach your body.
Why Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?
Break Through Blocks and Go Beyond Insight
When talk therapy hits a wall, KAP helps you access deeper emotional layers—so real change can start.
Knowing why you struggle isn’t the same as feeling different. Ketamine can open the door to experiences that shift how you relate to yourself and others.
Whether you're working on your own healing or trying to save a relationship, KAP can be integrated into individual or couples therapy.
Some clients experience significant movement after just a few sessions—more clarity, more capacity to cope, and more connection to what matters.
You deserve therapy that heals both your body and mind.
Common questions about Ketamine- Assisted Psychotherapy
-
Ketamine is a legal, safe and effective medicine used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety and PTSD. Ketamine has rapidly-acting antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, which can begin to take effect within 1-2 hrs. after treatment and last for up to 2 weeks. It works by blocking the brain’s NMDA receptors as well as by stimulating AMPA receptors, which are thought to help form new synaptic connections and boost neural circuits that regulate stress and mood. Ketamine has also been shown to enhance overall neuroplasticity for lasting symptom improvement.

Ketamine is incredibly flexible and can be prescribed at varying doses depending on the client’s goals and preferences. Low dose Ketamine allows the client to access materially more intentionally and engage in healing through EMDR or Couples Therapy to finally get unstuck. Higher dose Ketamine invites non-ordinary consciousness to occur and an inner healer can provide deep insights from beyond our conscious brains that are integrated therapeutically in subsequent therapy sessions.

Ketamine can be administered in a variety of ways, including IV infusion, intramuscular injection, via nasal spray and using sublingual lozenges. Typically, I collaborate with prescribers that utilize oral ketamine which can be self administered and allows the client to be either in office or at home in their own environment for dosing sessions.

The effects of ketamine, which most patients find pleasant, last for approximately 45-60 minutes. These effects can make you feel “far from” your body, and facilitate shifts in perception that can often feel expansive in nature. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience. Once these effects subsided, we’ll spend the remainder of our appointment giving you space to process and discuss your experience. While it may feel hard to articulate what happened during the experience, patients feel like the insights gained are powerful and clear. Studies have shown that the benefits to mood and neurological growth can last up to two weeks after the Ketamine experience.
